Just A Start Of The Christmas Season

Had a great time with the family in Imperial, (AKA Cooter, TX) and was nice to have quite a few laughs with some of the family I haven't seen in many years...

(NOT SURE WHATS UP WITH BLOGGER BUT THERE SHOULD BE PICS HERE AND THEY WON'T UP LOAD... SO THEY WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL LATER . ENJOY THE OTHERS)

Christmas is right around the corner and we are really getting geared up for it. Have lost of plans and spent way too much money already but we are ready! It's gonna be great!

Tyla's Christmas Present 2010

Want to get a new mirror but cannot find one right now... loving the results though...

I am not sure how old the door is but it has to be close to 50+ years because of the style.

*Update 11/24/10 - Got a new mirror from Stockton Glass. Was only $45. Wanted Plexiglass but they didn't have any and said that it would have been more expensive. So, just a little more work and the project will be complete. I think Tyla is gonna be thrilled with it!

Every year after Halloween we smash the Jack-O-Lanterns....

This year, time got away from us so all we had were WHOLE Pumpkins. So this is what happened... Enjoy, (God knows I did, I laughed so hard I almost pissed my pants.... )

This was too much fun!

Clean up took a while, and we are liable to have pumpkin vines everywhere next year but it was well worth it!

Halloween 2010

Took down the decorations at the house and moved them to the In-Laws just to give that little extra, since we expected a large amount of trick or treaters this year.

Painting the Dining Room

We decided to paint the dining room... OK "I" decided.... Memorial Day Weekend. In between calls from work and a trip to the "Ranch" (where the rigs are at here in Fort Stockton)... A one day project ended up being a 3 day event.

This was a lot of work in the end, but had Too much fun when it was said and done.

Brenton could not resist getting covered from head to toe. We laughed so hard...

Even Lola had a hand in it!

Now it feels more comfortable and enviting!
