PECOS COUNTY Sheriff’s office officials in Pecos County are investigating a woman’s body found Thursday afternoon outside of Fort Stockton. Pecos County deputy Pete Galvan said the body was found at 2:30 p.m. Thursday 15 miles outside of Fort Stockton when the landowner was checking on a well site on his property. He said sheriff’s investigators have had a hard time in the case because the body was decaying. “As far as we can tell it’s a woman,” he said. “The body was in pretty bad shape.” Galvan said sheriff’s officials think they know how long the body has been dead but are not completely certain because of the weather.

So far, we do not know who she is. It was apparent that she was "Dumped". I am commenting on this because I feel that with Fort Stockton growing bigger each and every day that we do not need some like this happening in our community.
