Too Much Dust In Ft Stockton Texas

As everyone knows, the dust in West Texas is , well, a given. No matter where you go there is not a home that I have seen that does not have dust on most every shelf, counter and floor. (except where it is cleaned daily) Once every week to two weeks you will find me cleaning one of the many rooms we have in our home, making it thouroughly free of dust. Clean is one thing but dust is absolutely unavoidable.

The reason I mention this is because there is an issue with the "Neighbors" just across the street from the shop that I work in. They have a really big issue with all the traffic that goes through the "yard" , creates too much dust in thier homes. They have filed petitions and demand Sandridge Energy to do something about it. (Sandridge ownes Lariat Services and Lariat is who I work for. ) Paving the front parking lot does not seem to be enough. Personally that has made things a lot better, I think. But the dust still pours into the neighbors homes. Now Sandridge has to do something the neighbors say to keep it down by "some type of suppression, emulsion, something down to contain the dirt" from "the back". Keep in mind that we have miles and miles of pasture behind our facility that Sandrige does not own.

Read the story here, however, watch the newscast to the right; they mention something interesting at the end (not in the text) that is an entire different post.
